Glasford International takes a strict regard for data protection laws and adheres to EU data protection guidelines laid down in October 1995. These are aimed at protecting the privacy of individuals when processing or exchanging data of a personal nature, in accordance with data protection laws specific to each member state. To fulfil all legal data protection requirements, we have developed and enforced a companywide code of conduct – strict standards which are binding for all of our offices. We also ask clients to adhere to these preventative measures.

Data protection: key areas of our code of conduct:

• We record data for the sole purpose of our executive search processes.
• Before sharing candidates’ personal information with clients, we always obtain the express permission of the candidate.
• Glasford International does not store sensitive personal information (relating to political opinions or persuasion, religious beliefs, trade union affiliation, health considerations, etc). No information of this nature is processed.
• We use the very latest technical infrastructure and security procedures to prevent data becoming accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, modified, or accessed by/forwarded to unauthorised people.
• If personal information on an individual is processed by our company, that person has the right to know

Individuals have the right to see all data that appears when their name is searched for. They also have the right to ask for this information to be corrected or erased. Our clients agree to adhere to the same data protection standards.
